Hi everyone! I'm Brittney Filion - Realtor at Keller Williams Realty in Mobile, Alabama and Certified Military Relocation Specialist. My husband is active duty Coast Guard and we have had to PCS 6 times in the past 12 years. It has been a journey, but one I am thankful for as it led me to where I am today! I have known the struggles of moving from one place to the next every few years, starting my entire life over and over again. As a Realtor, I wanted to channel all of my personal experiences with the buying and selling process and provide a top notch personalized experience for those seeking my guidance. Whether my clients are active duty military or civilians, I want them to know I am in this with them from start to finish and beyond. When I am not working with my clients, I am a proud steward in my community. I served as President of the Mobile Area Coast Guard Spouses' Club, helping the military spouses of the Mobile Area. Being President of a non profit has been a very rewarding experience. Giving back to my community has always been one of my top priorities. I was also awarded the Armed Forces Insurance Coast Guard ATC Mobile Spouse of the Year, and earned a chance to share my personal platform on Fox10 Mobile - Overcoming Mental Health Struggles Through Community and Connections. Everyone has a story, and I seek to learn the "why" for my clients. "Why do you need to sell? Why are you looking to buy?" Most of the time there is a story there, and I want my clients to know that the motivation they have to buy or sell is where we will start. Never forget your motivation behind why you seek to do things. It will help you when the process gets tough. And the process can sometimes be tough! I don't ever like to sugar coat that fact, but at the same time my clients can rest assure that I will always guide them to the best possible scenario that gets us to the end goal! Before I became a Realtor, I pursued a degree in English with Teacher Certification and I also worked in the insurance industry for 12 years. Real Estate became a true passion of mine as I realized it was something I truly enjoyed doing as it gave me a chance to serve others while also doing one of my other full time jobs...being a MOM! 🙂 I am truly thankful to all of my clients for trusting me to help them.
